EDiR: facts and figures at the ECR 2019

A whopping 275 candidates registered for the exam at the ECR 2019. This year broke the record for the largest number of registered candidates since we held our first examination session at ECR 2011. Out of those 275, we had 100 candidates from Poland only. We have its geographical proximity to thank for this, but also the fact that EDiR has been recognised as an equivalent to Poland´s national exit training examination. Italy and India ranked second and third, and we were pleased to see participant numbers from Germany and Austria were also on the rise.

This was our second year running our new Question of the Day initiative at the ECR. This raffle gives participants correctly answering one of the hardest EDiR questions the chance to win a free place at next year´s EDiR examination session, and we are incredibly excited to see that figures have almost tripled compared to ECR 2018! We hope to see this positive trend confirmed at ECR 2020.
