EDiR examination in BuENOS AiRES 2025
The European Board of Radiology (EBR) and the Sociedad Argentina de Radiología (SAR) announce the call for applications for the upcoming European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) examination, which will take place on December 12, 2025 in Buenos Aires.
Special Conditions for SAR Members
Thanks to the collaboration between the EBR and the SAR, members of the Argentine Society of Radiology are entitled to the following benefits:
Special reduced examination fee of €990 (standard fee: €1,100).
Complimentary access to the EDiR Simulation on 28 August 2025 (valued at €120), an official self-assessment tool designed to support exam preparation.
This initiative offers SAR members the possibility to benefit from additional resources while pursuing the European Diploma in Radiology.
EDiR is an international benchmark for general radiology and is officially and fully endorsed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the ESR. The examination is based on the European Training Curriculum for Radiology, Level I-II.
The EDiR adds value to your CV and sets you apart from other candidates for a job or fellowship.
The EDiR aims to work alongside existing national structures and board examinations to harmonise the level of Radiology training within Europe.
EDiR EXAM STRUCTURE
The examination tests knowledge, skills and competence in general radiology in three components:
78 Multiple Response Questions (MRQs)
24 Short Cases (SCs)
10 Clinically Oriented Reasoning Evaluation (CORE) Cases
